Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri Dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress, best known for her role in the film Beta Saajan and Hum Haiin Koun..! Her career began in the early 1980s. The role she played in the role of Anil Kapoor in Tezaab has made her hugely famous. In the following film, she was a part of Aamir as part of Dil. Early on, as a girl growing up in the middle class of Mumbai, she began to learn how to dance. She started acting when young and fought for a few years as most of her initial film projects were unsuccessful. She found fame and became one of the top movie actresses. She took a break from acting due to her marriage, before going back to the world of entertainment. Recently, she had an important character in the film Gulaab Gang which was about the struggles of women across India. Dixit is nominated in fifteen Filmfare Awards. Of these she's won eight. Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian prize awarded to civilians in India is bestowed to Dixit. Her fame is based on her social works as well.
