Amy Lou Adams, full name Amy Lou Adams (born 20 August 1974, Aviano Italy), American actress. Her fame is for her naive roles that are adorable and enjoyable. Adams is born in Italy as her father worked in the U.S. military and she grew up within Castle Rock Colorado as one of seven kids. The actress began acting and dancing professionally at the end of the 90s. She was part of Boulder Dinner Theatre, and after that, the Country Dinner Playhouse. Then, in Minnesota, at a local theater, she was cast as a character in the mock documentary about beauty pageants titled Drop Dead Gorgeous. Following her debut on screen as a ditzy but good-natured contestant she moved towards Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. Also, she raised Kelly Curtis, Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh, discovered by the actress Norma Shearer Leigh signed a contract with MGM to launch her journey as a film actor in the latter half of the 1940s. Over the course of the 1960s, Leigh appeared in films that were popular, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho and Living It Up.
