Her conception took place on the 29th of March, 1985 in Roswell in New Mexico. Gerina Michelle Mendoza is her birth name. Gerina Stevenson is a native of Mexico in the family of Mexican parents Alan Stevenson and Rita Stevenson. Her parents are Mexican and American. Her entire life has been a sports enthusiast. Gerina began playing golf when she was 15 years old. Gerina was a student at Goddard High School. In high school, she won the New Mexico golf state tournament. Also, she was an athlete in volleyball who played on the level of state. In the year 2003 she began her studies at the University of Texas. She took home all the events she took part in throughout her senior years. During her college career, she received her Conference USA Player of The Year Award as well as the Female UTEP Sports Athlete Award.
