Arike Ogunbowale
Arike Ogunbowale is a professional basketball player for the Dallas Wings, a team within the Women's National Basketball Association. She was a college basketball player with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, before being drafted by the Wings as the 5th overall selection of the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale was born the 2nd March, 1997 in Milwaukee Wisconsin to parents Yolanda and Gregory Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale (26 years old) and Dare Ogunbowale (19 years) are her brothers older than her. She was the eldest child of her family, and her parents took care of her to the max. Gregory was a Nigerian Army officer for a long duration. Ogunbowale has a thriving family background. She has a mother Yolanda and her brother Dare both played softball while at DePaul. Her cousin Endia Olive also plays volleyball at Tennessee State. Ogunbowale was on the institution's Honour Roll for three years consecutively. In high school, Ogunbowale has received numerous awards and has became famous. Arike has graduated from Divine Savior Holy Angels High School in her hometown. In addition to studying Arike was a member of three varsity teams while at Divine Holy Angels Savior High School. Ogunbowale led her team to multiple wins thanks to her exceptional skills. Her High School career by registering 73 career games and lists her career's totals as 1,477 points and 739 rebounds. Ogunbowale was a participant in the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championships 2014 FIBA World U17 Championships 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championships where she won Gold Medals. She was named to the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team on July 7, 2014. Ogunbowale is also part of the ACC All-Freshman Team, after her first year at the college. Kobe Bryant even thanked her for a number of important shots at the NCCA Tournament. Although still a newbie she has made herself a top basketball player, and she is bound to continue on her path. Arike ogunbowale is believed to be worth $5 million, according to an unnamed source. Ogunbowale's not just a great basketball player. She excels at many other sports as well. She plays soccer as well and even has been awarded State Cups with the Lake County United Soccer Club. She also played the piano for 7 years.
