Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen, a Vietnamese American businesswoman, lives in Orange County California. I have a lovely fiance called JP and a frightened father Henry. The majority of people have come across me through my Instagram platform, @annephung. I post my daily life: my highs, lows and everything between. In 1990 I moved to America together with my parents and brother as I reached the age of one and half. Without my parents' love of dedication and hard work and sacrifice, I wouldn't be with you sharing my journey. With the opportunity to have an improved life I wanted to try my best to please them. I determined to achieve my goals. I had a plan to attend school to graduate, and then get a good job. After that, I was looking for to have a family and a wife. I figured that was the ultimate definition of success. however, life has other plans to teach me the meaning of success. 2013 was the year I realized I disliked my corporate position. Although the salary and status were good, I didn't feel like the work was satisfying. It was more like I was just spending my time. My love of fitness and my passion for socializing with people helped me discover my dream job as a personal trainer. The business I started was in 2014, and I'll be celebrating 7 years of success in the year 2021. It is rare to find an Asian woman working in this field. I strive to be a change maker within the business to offer the best coaching and guidance to help people to live a more healthy and happier person by establishing an environment that is sustainable and meets their individual goals and needs. I also strive to empower people to pursue their goals and achieve all they wish to in life. When my work was taking off, I experienced one of the biggest losses in my life to datein the death of my Mom. The eight years she fought struggle with Scleroderma. She is now resting in Heaven and I will remain close to her in my heart. Even if you can't see it at first, life has a funny way of giving us what we really require. In so many ways, my mom's death changed me. I truly believe she offered me another chance to live through her demise. It was the Tet/Lunar New Year Day when she passed away. It was her time to start a new chapter in her life which gave me my second shot at an enjoyable and satisfying life. My 30's are the first that I truly feel like that I'm alive. My goal in sharing my experience is to show you that you're not the only one. I would like you to feel that love is real and that therapy is common. Health is the most important asset you have. Only one life is yours. I wish you to be the best version of yourself.
