Canadian screen actor best recognized for her performance as Bo Dennis in Lost Girl as Bo Dennis. She began her role in 2019 on CBSs Blood & Treasure. Silk has also been seen in Earthstorm (2006) and The Perfect Neighbor (2005). Silk was born Fredericton New Brunswick Canada, the daughter of Peter Silk who is an academic. Silk's wife Ilkay is a performer, director producer and playwright. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna's first memories are of seeing her mother work in the kitchen and going to play rehearsals. Silk was in a variety of commercials while a young child. She was in 1997 when she received an undergraduate education in the field of theater from St. Thomas University. The year 2009 was the first time Bo Dennis played the primary role of a succubus for the Canadian television show Lost Girl. CNN recognized her performance as Bo and Lauren, as lovers of the same sexe in Lost Girl one of their all-time favorite TV couples. E! declared them as the Top Television Couples for 2013.
